A Clerihew is a comic verse on biographical topics consisting of two couplets and a specific rhyming scheme of aabb that was invented by Edmund Clerihew Bentley (1875-1956) at the age of 16. The poem names a well-known person or character on the first line and the second line rhymes with the name of the person. (information from Gayle at dVerse Poets Pub)

ten million T’s rolled out on dime.

The fun part is the humor. One needs to think hard to come close to it and you did it with flying colors!

You aced Ms. Clara Hewe, but hey, the limerick aspect is part of the fun for me:
So after 12 years Angelina is divorcing Brad Pitt,
getting 40 million for accomplishing it.
It seems his parenting style is too stern,
& her style he refuses to learn.

Very fun, Lynn. I got to know Wright’s work really well when I was a docent at NV Museum of Art and we had a major exhibit. Quite a character and artist.

My favorite is the first one. I grew up in the heart of Frank Lloyd Wright country and have always loved his creations.

Cool! Our local library is patterned after his architectural designs.
