a new giant
floor puzzle,
especially for
young grandson
a picture of
fascinating
creatures who
live under the
ocean waves
sharks, eels,
sting rays and
cute clownfish
anemones, stars,
and sea horses
but he chooses
the old favorite
floor puzzle of
familiar farm
animals…again

I bet he comes to love the new puzzle later on. There is comfort in the familiar. And farm animals are a bit cuddlier than sea creatures. 😀

Nice poem, funny you writing about puzzles, I’m also doing 1000 piece puzzle at the moment, on my fourth now, and I like the farming ones also, so I can understand your grandson liking them better I think we go for things we see every day.
