Francis Scott Key wrote a poem, “The Star Spangled Banner” of four stanzas but we only sing the first as our national anthem (with the exception of home school graduation ceremonies). Here are the words to the final stanza…and my politically incorrect questions to fellow Americans and free thinking people everywhere!
O, thus be it ever when freemen shall stand,
Between their loved homes and the war’s desolation;
who will stand ready to protect family and home
if we don’t dare bare arms against terrorists?
Blest with vict’ry and peace, may the heav’n-rescued land
Praise the Pow’r that hath made and preserved us a nation!
who will give thanks for his providential blessings
if we trade precious freedoms for rainbow cakes?
Then conquer we must, when our cause is just,
And this be our motto: “In God is our trust”
who will stop evil and injustice in the world
if we only serve god of greed and money?
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

I really don’t understand how accepting people who are gay interferes with anyone’s freedom. Giving some people more freedom does not take anyone else’s freedom away. Everyone is human and deserves equality.

I guess you are talking of Planned Parenthood. I am wondering if you realize the good that Planned Parenthood does…or if you haven’t paid attention to that. I also wonder if you know anyone who has Parkinson’s Disease or Multiple Sclerosis, and realize that a lot of research is done to help people using fetal stem cells which may eventually lead to a cure. What would you say if one of your children had one of these diseases and this kind of research could help them?

Ugh. That last part is stomach turning,
and nice play on that last stanza. We never really hear beyond the first,
and there is much we have forgotten further along in the anthem.

We need to know all the verses and thank you for bringing this one forth. I like the way you brought it out with very important questions being asked. None of the nations are perfect or have had peaceful starts, but I’ll take this one over the others. I just pray we address these questions and to become better citizens of this country and the world. Excellent write.

The two stanzas in the middle were cool too. Your inquiries do stir up the frustration of this new century, & even though we know about the news within minutes from e every corner of the planet, I wonder sometimes if the world has truly changed, or are we just more focused & aware of every tragic & controversial event, so it just seems more prevelant?

abortions

are safe and legal..
i personally will not
get an abortion if
i am female with
male eyes.. but
the World Health
Organization shows
that unsafe abortions
are a major factor
in women’s permanent
disability and suffering
of human life at
the hands of
cruel tools
to get the job
done.. when humans
are truly desperate and
having another child
means the current
ones WILL LITERALLY
STARVE TO DEATH.. NO
LIFE ISN’T EASY in
all parts of the world
for sure.. but the
fact is.. abortions
are part of human
nature and will
continue legal
or not..
the only safe
alternative that
SHOULD SUIT
ALL SIDES.. on this
issue is safe and legal
effective birth control..
but sadly the church
I attend regularly..
the Catholic one
will not budge
an inch on THAT

the reality
is people who
are not cut out
to have children

them or abort
them.. and SOME children
who are not loved will
continue to become
drug addicts
and or criminals
later in life.. as when
nurturing in the first two
years does NOT FULLY
happen.. the connections
are never made in the brain
to feel satiated in happiness
in life from simply having
the human connection
of touchy feely
love in eyes
of child and
child’s mother
and other nurturing
surrogate parents
or Father.. so truly
a big part of greed
and money are
those parents
who are forced
in to having children
who are never cut
out to do it in the
first place and
can be forced
into it
by religious
ideology
that has nothing
to do with the
God of Nature
in the first place
that never ever follows
the rules of humans.. GOD
is a mix of dark and light..
humans can choose to live
with GOD or against GOD
AS GOD gives us these
brains to discern
