It’s Carpe Diem‘s 4th anniversary month with special guest, Kala Ramesh.  Also sharing with dVerse Poetics (see Lillian’s prompt) because this sunbird “razzle dazzles” me!

 

feathered malachite

iridescence shimmers in

delicate balance

sunbird stretches to blossom

sip of nectar’s sweet reward
