his spoken word
created light to shine
into chaotic darkness
God’s voice as big bang
trinity of love plays with clay
spark of divine – imago dei
his begotten Word
bursts into our world
starlight announces birth
recreated in Christ’s love
we sparkle, we shine
“… so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation. Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky. “ (Philippians 2:15)
