Well, two things. First I do not agree with my first comment. This is a beautiful tanka, and the one that most matches the theme. I was trying to figure out what happened, then remembered I had just read two haiku, not on your page, glorifying God, at the expense, I thought, of making a nice image about nature, I let the feelings of those bleed into your tanka. My apologies.

Your gracious apology accepted, Tinker…I edited Creator to Creation as it fit better. Thanks for taking time to comment again!

I liked that thought in the first two lines very much, but did not see the connection to the third, at all!. In fact was built up so nicely. Last two lines nice.

Thank you for your comments! I understood that the petroglyphs tell Tuvan creation story, but did not connect that idea well…may need to edit.

I think I should revisit and maybe edit my ideas! Let me read again, not sure why I saw it that way, and think I need to explain if I still do

‘Revelations in rocks’ are preserved for time…nice thought.
