don’t call again-
i’d wear a grin
(is it a sin?)
if someone poked
Trump with a pin
we would elate
while he’d de-flate;
we need a better
candid-ate !
a caricature
at best; i’m sure
supporters he’ll
impress, allure;
bamboozled by his
bold coiffure.
Rhyming quadrille in honor of (and with apologies to) Dr. Seuss, who would have celebrated his 112th birthday on March 2nd. My response to d’Verse poetics (and current politics).

I was grinning as you turned your phrases so well!

I’m Canadian, and I STILL want to pop Trump with a pin.

I think his bold coiffure is enough to turn milk sour rather than bamboozle voters!

Nothing’s better than political satire… Though I’m actually more scared than amused these days.

One thing about Trump–he seems to be inspiring a lot of funny poetry. His hair is another story.

I adore the idea of wearing a grin.
And I don’t talk politics, ever…but let’s just say this made me wear one, too. 😉

You and I are on the same page with this one, Lynn! If you read mine, you will see why.

Ugh, Trump, someone needs to deflate that bag of hot air… 😦

I love this Lynn ~ Grins at bamboozled by his
bold coiffure. Fun to read aloud too ~

I love this! He does seem to be full of hot air, which would mean he would deflate if poked with a pin. Perhaps a sin, but surely one that’s forgivable. Peace, Linda
