A “gentle scent of lavender” at Carpe Diem Haiku Kai today…

 

pillowed prayers’ peace

gentle scent of lavender

perfumes silent dreams

purple fields in evening praise

raise reverent cloistered blooms

    I could teslly feel the aromas! Thsnks fot your warm lovely comment I just saw…..very much.
    Previously just mentioned if you copy/pasted a tanka ftom another source you could write yours over it, bringing the lines closer together if you wanted, though of course keeping the last two separate as you wanted. Was just a thought.
    Anyway, v nice tanka.
