blacksmith bellows

hammer clangs anvil

iron thrust into fire’s white heart

sweating over forge

skilled craftsman shapes legacy

in horseshoes and kettle hooks

    Hi Lynn! I like the way your tanka starts with the sound of the hammer and anvil. I love the line: ‘iron thrust into fire’s white heart’.
