A photo and quadrille of 44 words for dVerse poets on “sky” theme…

i desire to be
a prisoner of hope
captivated by love

learning to surrender
to ultimate good will;

transformed, renewed,
impassioned and freed

to serve, unreservedly, as
we await full redemption

when Jesus, our glorious
hope, returns in blazing
sky with power to reign!

“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. “

(Romans 5:1 & 2 NIV)

    “Learning to surrender” even as we await His glorious return! You pack a lot into these few words.

    A “prisoner of hope” is apt. Thanks to Jesus, I am an optimist, even though I also have diagnosed depression. I can get really really down yet still find loveliness in nature, my friends, spiritual reading, poetry, etc.

    This is absolutely beautiful! ❤️ It beats being surrounded by despair .. by gloominess.. yes let us be “prisoners of hope,” and serve others out of the goodness of our hearts. ❤️
