tired old man in the moon
had had enough of listening
to earthโs noisy troublemakers!
how can anyone sleep with
that infernal decibilled racket?
he was definitely full of it, so
he donned his top hat and
swallow-tailed coat, locked
his door and set sail to a star.

It is a time of challenge and self reflection. While many need the quiet there are those the thrive on the noise.

Oh yeah! Don’t we wish we could all do that! I like how he “locked his door” before setting sail. Nice detail.

This is absolutely fabulous! ๐ I love how you address ” infernal decibilled racket,” which I resonate with deeply living in a city where there is noise 24/7. Who doesn’t want peace and tranquility amid the stars? ๐

Thanks, Sanaa! Some American cities have grown ugly with all the noisy troublemakers.
