“Time goes faster the older you get”
i realize it’s true, especially the good times
meandering multiplied (s)miles,
you and i on camping road trips;
every curve reveals
another vista of love’s wonder upon
bespectaculared smiling blue eyes,
mirror pools of creation’s beauty.
Quadrilles and smiles with De and dVerse poets today 🙂

love the camping and road trips. I also thought about s-miles but couldn’t go the distance. You did, it works well.

Thanks, Eric…(s)miles is what inspired my quadrille 🙂

Love those meandering road trips.

I wonder so much why time seems to move faster… I need to think about that.

my theory is, years become smaller fractions of our lives. To a four year old, a year is one quarter of eternity!

Ah! A new word! Smiled at that!

Ok, you did a great job with the word ‘smile’ in this, but my favorite word is this one: bespectaculared. 🙂 YES.

Thanks for a delightful prompt, De. We both wear “spectacles” and enjoy “spectacular” scenery which birthed a word!

May you share many more smiles
Thanks for dropping by my blog

Beautifully recalled, Lynn!

Neat new word, Lynn. Traveling together on new roads sounds like a wonderful way of living.

One of the blessings of “retirement” 🙂

Time certainly does fly by as you age but there is time to revere the simple things and remember the happy times. Lovely sentiments in your poem.
