warm woodsy scent still
lingers in last night’s sweatshirt
campfire memories.

aroma’s scrapbook
applewood and pine needles
toasty marshmallows

The dreamy thoughts of campfire lead to the practicality of being careful… enjoyed both 🙂

I love campfires and their woodsy smells. Unfortunately, it’s the height of the heat season here in the desert, so the campfires are still several months down the road.

True — you don’t want to bear the brunt of the smoke if the wind changes direction, LOL!
Great post – I love the scent of a good campfire! 🙂

It’s so true that the sense of smell holds so many memories. This “scented” poem brought me back in time to the campfires of my own youth. How fun.
