Linking to dVerse poetics where Victoria hosts a musical theme. Gotta love the sound of musical terms and be amused by antics of animals at their own unique tempo!
sheep doloroso bleats
chicken vivace peeps
horse grazioso clops
bullfrog legato hops
kittens vibrato mew
cattle adagio chew
deer acapella leap
ants presto creep
grizzly forte growls
wolf cadenza howls
puppy capriccio frisks
squirrels bourree whisk

Am I wrong to think this work belongs also to children to enjoy along with their parents, and would make a great children’s book? I see the animal pictures now, and the new musical vocabulary of kindergarteners stunning their teachers, lol.

Love this! Playful, and accurate description of all those animals. Loved the fact that the title included a time signature.

Somehow I saw the tension of wildlife, we see it as serene, but often from the animal’s point of view you either prey or you are being preyed.

Very true, Bjorn…there’s dissonance in nature.

I wouldn’t say choppy, Lynn–how about staccato! It’s so fun and, for me, illustrates how all creation has music within. Even my little deaf dog responds to the rhythm of vibrations.

😄 I liked the wildlife in your Finlandia video too!

It seems all nature knows how to sing their part. That’s a great analogy
