stereo-typical-saturday

kids up too early

cranked TV up

LOUD

running up & down

the stairs with nerf

guns

whooping-it-up

you decide it’s time to

MOM UP

and whip-up breakfast

before natives turn

entire

house upside-down;

sssshhhh, don’t wake

~ UP ~

your father now!

44-word quadrille for dVerse Poets where De chose the word (you guessed it):  UP!

I love all the “up”s in your poem – and the story you tell. A delightful read.

I wonder how much it will be missed when the kids won’t even come up for lunch…

I remember doing that when I was young. Saturday was when there were cartoons on TV.
