A 44-word “revolutionary” quadrille for dVerse where Kim is hosting…
i’m embarrassed by
feminists who whine for
equal “rights” to be like men,
to NOT give birth; who refuse
to protect and nurture the most
vulnerable little women but
demand “choice” to violate
sanctuary of their womb,
dishonoring womanly powers;
today, motherhood is revolutionary!

It seems they want to lose their identity, or is it an excuse of not wanting the responsibility of raising children they are responsible for. (There are exceptions of course.) Considering the shockingly high abortion rate, it seems irresponsible sex is in high demand, but the aftermath has led to the murder of millions of innocent lives. I often wonder about those lost children and the impact they could have had on the world, after all God places a purpose in everybody.

I tend to disagree a bit on this subject, I think it has to do with when a child is a child. I do see a lot of good motherhood which is well combined with being equal… and leaves a lot of room for a new fatherhood

A difficult topic to comment on with so many varied beliefs and situations but I will say you have honoured your belief with this powerful piece.

Thank you, Mish. It’s good to discuss difficult topics, especially when people can disagree graciously.

… a tension that will exist until the end of time. I treasure my children and grandchildren …. thankful I had that choice, unlike many women forced to abortion, no choice whatsoever. Your quadrille is thoughtfully composed.

Thanks for your thoughtful comments, Helen. Sad when women feel pressure to abort…

Indeed, it is so is having a choice.
Apr 18, 2023 @ 11:19:53
I could never choose death for a child…
Apr 18, 2023 @ 12:21:14
Nor could I but I won’t judge others because I am not in their shoes.
Apr 18, 2023 @ 07:04:54
Bravo! Motherhood deserves celebration.
Apr 18, 2023 @ 11:19:27
Yes, it does! Thanks, Susan 😀

Motherhood can be revolutionary, Lynn, depending where in the world one lives. We can’t have it all but we must always have a choice.
Apr 18, 2023 @ 11:18:47
Seems we can’t have it all at the same time, anyway 🙂

A very powerful statement, Lynn. Seems there are always contradictions.
Apr 18, 2023 @ 11:16:41
Yes, we live with that tension, Dwight.

Seems like the next generation wants to redefine everything and throw out what makes them uncomfortable.
