luminousity

orange pumpkin moon

black cloud eye-mask conceals face

trick-or-treat bandit

rises above dark tree shapes

farmyard glows with light surreal

mysterious crossing

Shiki, one of the Big Five haiku poets, wrote this in classical style:

was lost in the mist

his haunting haiku inspires my attempt as follows:

glance out my window

cloud wisps pass before half moon

glimpse coyote shadows
