A wonderful interpretation of the prompt. How I wish this mixture could solve some of the world’s “difference” problems.

Oh I love the swirling the colors, the last stanza taking a stance. We need that diversity.

ha – love the swirl of cream in
a coffee dream…. intercultural families have def. a richness of background and traditions and also facing some challenges that others may not have… though def. they stretch beyond the famililar and such a chance to learn and grow

Adoptive families certainly face unique challenges, Claudia…witnessing their struggles and overcoming love stretches the rest of us as well.

Especially love the stanza about adoption. You took this prompt and ran with it, Lynn. This is a favorite of yours for me.

What a wonderful hook you have for this piece; that true story of love, compassion, & adoption ranks high on the heart-tug scale. Mixed race families are fascinating fodder for prompt rocking.

Hey I am thinking coffee dreams sounds like a good thing. Shadows playing can be pretty cool too. My fav part is surely the family diverse by design. Have a mash up of culture, adds depth to what you can explore together.
