i laughed to tears and,
gasping for air, finally
screamed, “Stop!” which
he always did, with a grin.
Now history repeats
as I witness my husband

own granddaughters,
floored in loud protest.

Aw, I love this! My grandad used to sit me on his lap, bounce me on his knees and then, when I least expected it, as I was on the downward bounce, open his knees wide and I would ‘fall’ between his legs. He would always have his hands ready to catch me under my armpits though! I loved that so much. He could sometimes be quite stern, but he had a wicked sense of humour. Thank you for the memories!
