whispered in forest

breathe clear mountain air

camp beneath whispering

pines listen to nocturnal

noise as whispers of clouds

shadow dance with haloed moon

campfire embers glow while

smoke-curl whispers spiral up

i welcome irresistible tickle

when you whisper soft into ear

warm touch overwhelms words

How fun. I can almost smell the campfire and pine trees thanks to your descriptions.

I remember how pines can whisper when walking through a pine forest and how the nights are not as silent as they are sometimes dark.

The pines do whisper. I always feel uplifted when I’m under one. I really love this poem and all the whispers in it.
