with its possibilities and also
its impossibilities; accept our limits
and yet look beyond ourselves…yes!

say “yes” to LOVE, not only
being loved but being the lover
look around to see who needs you
stretch familiarly toward people…yes!

say “yes” to LIFE, the gift
to dwell in this present moment
we will pass through here but once
to engage with exuberance…oh, yes!

say “yes” to JOY, in your heart
have something to shine and share
spy beauty everywhere, all around
count blessings in little things…YES!

i must radiate
from cool core soul
like blue mud ball of heavy
clay saturated then evaporated into wet
rings rippling outward with smooth swirling moves that break through purple
barrier of fearful insecurities
with unique inner energy ignited by spirit’s heat. which pulsates bright music
of love and creativity to touch and enhance other lives with beauty and joy!

Christ-mas is joyous occasion,
a traditional commemoration of
historical birth-day celebration!

unique conception, God becomes man
King who reigns, deigns to live human
unexpected pregnancy not the problem

the first noel means “to be born”
whether middle of night or early morn,
for unto YOU this holy child is born!
