Jesus is healer

his word is “panpharmacon

– salve for every sore”

whatever the affliction

no matter the addiction

 

(Matthew 4:23-25)

 

lanes open at 4 a.m.

 

thunder bowls on roof

lightning scores strike across lawn

rain cheers at windows

 

find your ball and pay for shoes

no one can sleep in alley!

 

hideous powers

 

world of violence

when we tolerate evil

cultures in rubble

 

align to  higher standard

pursue peace with sword of truth

 


For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.  (Ephesians 6:12)

 

sweets for the sweet

 

black cherry ice cream

delectable chocolate chunks

coldness makes teeth hurt

 

keeping this just for yourself?

my husband asks and i smile
